How to Wiki...
How to Wiki...
Wikis are new to many people and they can be a bit confusing at first, but once you get going you will wonder why you haven't been using one.
Why should you set up an account on this wiki?
You can help edit certain pages - fix typos, add/remove information
You can watch certain pages, if you want to know when something is being updated to check it out.
Must you setup an account to use the wiki? NO! You can simply peruse the site like its another website (or like WIKIpedia).
If you would like to set up an account, follow the steps below:
The first step is to click "Join" on the top right corner.
You will need to set up a new account though. I suggest that you use your first and last name if possible or maybe frau, herr, senor, etc.
You will be asked if you would like to create a new wiki. Unless you want your own personal one now too, click no.
Once you have your sign in name, you can join all sorts of wikis, but you want the FLAND wiki, so you might have to retype
in the address bar.
Once you are there, on the left hand side you will see "Join wiki"; click it.
Your request will come to me, Martina, and I will approve you, if you are a FLAND member that is... (1 business day response time :) )
Once I have approved your request, and you log-on, on the top right of all the pages, you will see "Edit".
You can click and edit pages anytime you want. Make sure you hit save when you are done.
If you think you messed up, let me know - through email - and I can undo what you did.
That's it. If you have questions, I can of course help you. My email is:
